The Easiest Way to Polish Your Own Nails

2/2/2021

The Other Hand Will Never Be a Problem Again

{New Favorite!! No affiliation.}
Picturemy easy-to-polish LEFT hand
Pictured: Midnight in Manhattan (an ultra glossy black) paired with Swiss and Tell (white) hiding Between the Lines (clear striped).

So my girl since forever, Shannon, gifted me these gems, and I just had to blab about them.
Why? Because they are real nail polish in strips minus the wet.
AND they were so easy to apply.
Peel, Stick, Instant Glam.

(Picture tutorial below.)
Would you believe I achieved this manicure during the day while my little ones were awake?
Lots of Mommy this and Mommy that. BUT Mommy got it all done without smudging her manicure.
AND pause. Check out my other hand.
Picture& my STUNNING other hand (RIGHT)
Pictured: A sleeker style with Midnight in Manhatten (a liquid latex-look black) coupled with Underground Magic (a deep black that bursts into a shimmery silver glitter).

This is my other hand. You know, the dominant one that's impossible to paint because the non dominant hand hasn't quite learned the art of control. {But why would she? It's not her day job.}
My other hand did not require an extra 30 minutes to paint base coat, color coat, and then top coat like traditional nail polish. Nope. It was easy peasy with colorSTREET. PEEL. STICK. REPEAT.
And after all that simple beauty, there was a big bonus...
No dry time. I finished my nails and went straight into preparing a meal for the boys and checking their homework. No waiting and again, because I can't say this enough, there were  No smudges.

The moment I fell in love...

And stayed in love was when my manicure held up for 14 whole days. Deep gasp. I was able to get 2 week nails at home with no lamps or special gel polishes.
The only problem I had was forcing myself to wait the 2 entire weeks before trying a new style. And when I did, I tried them all at once in a mixed manicure. There are endless mixes that you can match to your heart's desire. I'm eying Chilladelphia under Between the Lines for my next mani.

Day 1 :  Fell in love with 'Between the Lines.' She would be gorgeous with a bold yellow and hot pink mixed mani.

Day 14: Waited and waited for the polish strips to chip off, but it stayed on like a no chip mani. No lamp needed.

Pictured: Swiss and Tell (white), Coming up Rose Gold (clear glitter ombre), Moscow or Never (copper), and Between the Lines (clear striped).

Best On-The-Go Nail Polish

Going on vacation? Have a special occasion? Or just want to make it through the week without a chip in your pretty polish? Then these colorSTREET nail strips are definitely worth a try.
The purse-friendly packaging of colorSTREET makes it a no brainer for on-the-go manicures. I'm that girl who packs nail polish in my purse. I no longer need to pack one to three bottles of nail polish for the possibility I might find a smudge-free window to paint my nails. I just toss the envelope sized packet into my purse and go.

Each colorSTREET envelope comes with a nail prep pad and nail file. A complete manicure kit for gorgeous do it yourself nails.

More application videos here.
And here is a video of my very first colorSTREET sample trial.
I loved how easy it was to apply my two nail strips and almost forgot I had to let the rest of my nails dry.
Did my wet polished nails smudge? YES!! Again, mommy duty won and both thumbs and an index finger smudged shortly after this picture.
